Bishop E.W. Jackson’s Awesome Comments

You remember the old idea of not saying anything at all if you have nothing nice to say?  I’m dealing with that a little bit today:  there is a TON of stuff to be said, yet I don’t have a whole lot to say.  Instead of me giving another soapbox rant, or trying to educate on anything, allow me to simply share this video that Dan showed me yesterday.  If you haven’t seen this, watch it and share it with others, please!

Refreshing Words from Reince Priebus

The Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus had some very direct and to the point comments in response to Harry Reid’s claim that Mitt Romney has not paid taxes in ten years. I first have to point out the hypocrisy in Reid’s comments as he himself has a net worth of $4.5 million and likely pays the same amount as Romney, while blasting the rich for not paying their “fair share.” Secondly, it’s incredibly refreshing to hear some straightforward comments about the current administration’s failure during its first term and the need for our nation to return to the values and principles that made it great. Watch the video following the link below of Priebus on This Week with George Stephanopolous and tell me what YOU think!

So which is it, Mitt?

I’ve never been big on Romney.  Mainly because nothing has ever convinced me that he’s actually a conservative.  He may find the right terms on occasion, but what I know about him is not what I consider to be a conservative.  I’ve stated early on in this blog’s entries that I think Santorum is the best candidate out there . . . not perfect, just the best, most principled guy in the race.  Let it be known, whoever ends up going against Obama has my support.   I can’t state this enough:  America does not survive another 4 years of Obama and the crowd he surrounds himself with.  However, my uncertainty and lack of trust towards Romney just got a little more uncomfortable.  Watch this, from 2002 . . .
