Video on Obama’s Record as Seen on FoxNews
Posted by Unapologetically Right in Current Events, Economy, Politics, social issues, Uncategorized on May 31, 2012
I heard about this video yesterday and finally watched it today. I post it here to ask if you have seen it. If not, please watch it. I don’t care if you’re a liberal, a conservative, if you hate Fox News . . . watch it. Obama’s record and the facts are what they are no matter who reports (oddly enough most of the media is up his back end and doesn’t report honestly, anyway). Enjoy and spread it around!
Memorial Day
Posted by Unapologetically Right in Current Events, social issues, Uncategorized on May 28, 2012
Sometimes it seems so trite and inadequate to say “thank you” to our troops. As I consider how freedom has been defended, generation after generation, it is almost overwhelming to think of the men and women who have sacrificed their all so that the rest of us can live the lives that we live, think the things we think, speak the words we speak, and act the way we act. Oh, let us not do them such a grave disservice by forgetting. Many bold and courageous men and women have gone into the trenches to do what many others are unwilling to do . . . or are scared to do. For them, I am grateful and I thank God that I was born in the United States of America and can enjoy the freedoms that we have.
Thank you to all troops who have fought for freedom – past and present. As insufficient as it seems, I also say “thank you” to the spouses and children that have made the sacrifice for freedom. May God give you peace and strength to stand proud.
Below is a video I have to share. I just ran across it recently. There is text at the end for Veteran’s Day, but it is equally relevant for Memorial Day. Please watch and remember those who have given their all for us.

Keeping Perspective
Posted by Unapologetically Right in Current Events, Religion, social issues, Uncategorized on May 23, 2012
I have been less frequent in posting on the blog recently and I apologize. I’ve said this before, but, as you can certainly understand and appreciate, it is a challenge to write as much as I’d like with a full time job and . . . well . . . life. It would be great if I had the luxury of sifting through news, researching history, studying the Bible, and presenting my thoughts to you full time and doing a podcast more than once a week. However, that is impossible – at this point anyway. I am very thankful to have Dan and Mike available to help, but they, like me, stay busy with other things, as well. This is not to lament anything so much as an admission of having fewer posts than I would like, personally. I hope to pick up the pace a little soon. This is only part of my point, however.
Admittedly, it’s easy to get beaten down when you read so much news and deal with so much crap in the world. Let’s face it, there’s not much good out there and there seems to be a continually growing disdain for all things good and Godly. I remember back to my college days, in studying philosophy, I had a great professor – a great Christian guy, excellent teacher and great thinker at a Christian university. We would study all of the great philosophers – and some not so great – but every once in a while, as we studied some of the humanist philosophers and have seemingly heretical dialogues, he would take occasion to have a “faith check.” We would take a day and get back to our Biblical foundation of what the Lord says and how it compares to the humanist, existential philosophers. The effort was to prevent our minds and beliefs from being totally derailed by false and corrupt philosophies (see Col. 2:8). It was always nice to keep that perspective and remember who we were. Who we are.
I’ve kind of been at that point, personally. I hate all the mess in the world. I hate the lying sacks in our government and how they are deliberately ruining America to steal our freedom. I am frustrated at how, still to this day, many of the “good” people (conservatives, Christians, etc.) are still talking more than doing (it seems – hopefully I’m wrong on that) . . . or still choose to keep their heads buried in pop culture nonsense. I’ve recently reached my moment of needing to step back and regain perspective. Who am I? Who are we as a nation? I have pulled back from reading as much news recently, just so my head doesn’t actually explode.
I come here with no other point, today, than to urge you, please remember. Remember God’s blessing on us and the atmosphere in which that blessing manifested. Please remember that we were founded as a Christian nation – not a theocracy, but a nation that understood that Biblical principles are the only principles that allow for the most freedom, the most prosperity, the most blessing, the most charity, the most equality, the most justice, the most consistency, the most stability and security. We have strayed so far it’s nearly incomprehensible, giving us an almost unrecognizable excuse for America. There are still good people in the world, but we have let the very vocal and corrupt minority direct us into compromised faith and principles. This must stop. Alas, it will never stop until we return to who we are as a nation: the shining city on a hill. The last great hope of the world . . . of freedom! Can we be such a shining city or example, apart from faith and an equally significant boldness?
It is imperative that we return to God and His principles for us to survive as a nation. It is necessary to our freedom and our way of life. We must check ourselves and deal accordingly with the socialists in D.C. in the coming election. However, it is impossible for a nation to suddenly change its conscience. It is a long, deliberate process and must begin with the individual . . . as everything does. We must first change ourselves, then allow that to move outward to those around us, our communities, cities, counties, states, then, eventually, the nation. How does this happen unless we cultivate a personal relationship with the Lord? It doesn’t and can’t. So, I ask, do you know Him? I do. So, all I can do, now, is ask you to look in your heart and ask, if you don’t, is it time? If we can only change the nation by returning back to God, it has to start with me and you. If you don’t know Him, I encourage you to do so. Trust Him with your life. Learn His Word and pray like your life depends on it.
Please, for the sake of all that we know and for future generations, please get right with God and be a part of the solution to returning the greatest nation on the planet back to God. Do I mean that there is a collective salvation thing here? Absolutely not. Contrary to what Obama wants to claim, Jesus only offers individual salvation for all who will receive Him as their Savior and repent of their sin. However, it is when the individual gets right that he/she can affect those around him/her and begin to have a far reaching affect that will help a larger “collective,” if you will. Please turn to God, help revive this nation and take it back from the enemy.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” – Ephesians 6:10-13

Marriage vs. Civil Unions: A thought on what marriage should be about instead of what a Bill in Congress says it is
Posted by Unapologetically Right in Current Events, Politics, social issues, Uncategorized on May 22, 2012
Recently we have seen our president step out in support of LGBT marriage rights. In all of this we have seen a significant swirl of political debates play out on both the right and left sides of the argument. However, I hope to produce a school of thought that no one is really talking about. I contend that the Act signed into law from Bill Clinton, a Democrat, which defines marriage as between a man and woman missed the whole point of the concept of marriage in the first place. It misses the fact of what species in general live for on this plant, whether a bug, an animal, or human. The point of any species is to procreate. The LGBT community cannot procreate, and thus cannot create life without the sexual reproductive organisms from the opposite sex. I am not saying that they do not have a right in this free country to live how they want to. In fact, from a legal stand point, there has to be some ramifications for a gay or lesbian couple who have spent 10 years together and merged their life fortunes together to be able to split ways in a legal regard when the two want to leave each other – such as a legal contract binds a man and woman in marriage. Or to even enjoy the benefits of certain things like health insurance if the two co-habitate, like in a legal contract as married couples do. However, the concept of what marriage is, and common law rights are two different arguments.
Marriage is more than just a contract. It is a fact of survival for a species. In this primitive argument, yes most species procreate without regard to love or marriage, but the fact still holds true they procreate. If a portion of the population of dogs suddenly became gay or lesbian, would we not see a massive drop in the population of dogs? They do not possess the technology to recreate life thru a test tube. In this regard they must procreate in order to survive. This is true for any species’ survival. Humans, being very intelligent, have learned to procreate in a very humane fashion – marriage. Such a special act such as sex is meant to be in the confines of marriage, and the intention for these acts is to create children. The organs were not put on our bodies just to have fun, but more so that we utilize them in the way God has intended them to be used – which is to procreate. In society today sex is something that humans do naturally with random people or someone you have gotten to know. Divorce rates are up to around 50%, and the whole argument of the sanctity of marriage seems a bit farfetched for kids from broken homes or mothers or fathers from broken marriages. So a whole society over time has grown numb to this concept of marriage, and thus we see sex as something as a recreational activity instead of what God wanted it to be – in unity of marriage. Sex has no meaning for people who are not Christian, and the act is it is viewed more so as something that is done for fun. So we lose sight of what marriage has meant to the population of our species, and we, ultimately, go against the laws of nature.
As a society we are willing give up our ability to sustain life over the long run so that a minority will have the same legal rights as others. Marriage should not have been defined so broadly between a man and a woman, but between two species that are of the opposite sex who have the ability to procreate with each other so that the cycle of life can be self sustaining. To say otherwise is to literally condone the dying off of a population. So the argument to have civil unions so that legal rights can be applied to the minority of the population who decide to live as a LGBT – yes I can see that side of the argument. However, marriage is something more special than just a contract, and to allow the LGBT community to have the title of marriage is to water down the very basis of what marriage was suppose to be about centuries ago – to procreate and sustain life in a human fashion versus the primitive fashion of our counter parts of bugs or animals (and more so to the fact that God created marriage and our bodies to act this way).

Does It Matter?
Posted by Unapologetically Right in Current Events, Politics, social issues, Uncategorized on May 18, 2012
Does it matter that Obama was raised surrounded by Marxists, anti-colonialists, and radicals and holds a deep disdain for American ideals and capitalism?
Does it matter that he believes in Marxist ideologies over the Constitution?
Does it matter that Obama’s pastor, for 20 years, spews racist hate, condemns America, and promotes black liberation theology?
Does it matter that Obama found it appropriate to give a “shout out” to a buddy prior to making the announcement to the nation of the Ft. Hood terrorist attack?
Does it matter that Obama pledged to cut the national deficit in half, but instead has added more debt than all previous presidents combined (from Washington to Bush)?
Does it matter that Obama never talks about individual liberty or private property, yet always pushes big government’s responsibility to take care of its subjects?
Does it matter that Obama has always surrounded himself, as an adult, with Marxists, Communists, radical revolutionaries, and anti-capitalists?
Does it matter that Obama insists on pushing a system of government and economics that has been tried many times throughout history and has failed miserably every time?
Does it matter that Obama supports everything against Biblical Christianity and morality? (abortion, gay marriage, lack of individual responsibility, etc.)
Does it matter that Obama allows Muslims to pray in D.C. for their national gathering, that he allowed the atheists “Reason Rally”, but he never promotes the “National Day of Prayer”?
Does it matter that Obama uses bully tactics and goes after anyone who disagrees with him – even to individual American citizens?
Does it matter that Obama has made us weak and laughable to our enemies and alienated us from our allies?
Does it matter that Obama does not support Israel when God clearly stated that he who blesses Israel will be blessed and he who curses Israel will be cursed?
Does it matter that Obama has appointed Marxist ideologues, anti-Constitutional, anti-freedom appointees to his administration without Congressional approval?
Does it matter that he continually subverts the law (Constitution) and Congress and has even said he would like to go at it alone (without Congress holding him up)?
Does it matter that he, and his cronies, crammed Obamacare down America’s unwilling throat in the cover of darkness?
Obama promised government transparency and that the people would be able to read bills before voting on them . . . does it matter that everything he promised was a blatant lie?
Does it matter that “the great unifier” now has the country more divided than ever in every possible category?
Does it matter that we recently have publications that show he was born in Kenya and that was known up until 2007 before being hidden from the public?
When Michelle Obama said, after Barry was elected, that for the first time she was proud of her country . . . was that odd to you? Does that kind of statement matter?
Does it matter that Obama’s advisors and appointees never site America’s founders, but rather cite and praise Hugo Chavez, Saul Alinksy, Mao Tse-Tung and the like?
When Obama referred to conservatives as the “enemy who needs to be punished” – speaking of much of mainstream America – did that matter?
The fact that Obama’s real life does not match up with the life he wrote about (as his own) in his books – it’s all a lie, a fairy tale that we are supposed to take as a great American story . . . yet it’s false – does that matter?
Does it matter that the economy is worse off under Obama’s policies, but he thinks he needs to do more?
Does it matter that it seems Obama is conspiring with the Russians about something behind America’s back (remember when he told Medvedev to tell Putin to be patient until he won his last election) . . . Does that raise a red flag (no pun intended) and does it matter?
Does it matter that, prior to his election, he said he was “5 days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America”, but never defined what that transformation was? (of course the world knows, now . . . but what do WE do about it?)
Does it matter that his ideas for America are fundamentally different than actual, true American principles?
Does it matter that the media never called him out or questioned him with any hard questions?
Does it matter that he told Joe the Plumber that he believed redistribution of wealth is good?
Does it matter that every group or person who supports Obama seems to be as far left as can be, anti-capitalist, anti-God, without any sense of respect for American values, anti-Bible, anti-traditional family, etc . .. is that significant to you? Does it matter?
While our borders are porous and there is a violence problem, Hezbollah and Hamas are coming across, and many atrocities are taking place, yet Obama and his cronies don’t want to do anything about it . . . does that matter to our well being, security and sovereignty as a nation?
Does it matter that Obama and Eric Holder put guns into the hands of drug gangs and Americans were killed by them and they tried to cover it up and brush it under the rug in hopes that anti-gun laws would be established in America for their own agenda?
Does it matter that the lies never stop?
Does it matter that Obama is treasonous, but no one holds him accountable or seeks to impeach him?
Does it matter that the whole lot of his administration is treasonous?
Does it matter that Obama’s, and the whole administration’s, goal is to kill all American prosperity and make us all subjects, dependent on his marxist government?
Does it matter at all for us to have the most anti-American, anti-God, anti-Constitution, dividing, lying, bullying, arrogant, radical wanna-be-dictator in the history of our great land?
The election is coming up. We can’t do this anymore, so look at the big picture and ask yourself if any of it matters.
Does it?
Just asking.

Econ 101 with Mike: The Euro Debt Problem
Posted by Unapologetically Right in Current Events, economics, Economy, Politics, Uncategorized on May 14, 2012
Well, another day and another threat to a Euro Zone problem. To everyone out there that actually thinks that the recent elections are the answer to the Euro Zones problems I salute you. Not to say that you are on the right track and to a mission well done, but more so to a farewell good-bye off the cliff of oblivion. Yes, the Euro Zone elections are in and it seems the general population has voted on the side of giving themselves massive spending increasing from the government. They all want the government to spend more money to stimulate the economy. I love that general term…stimulate the economy. In further posts I can explain what that means in real terms, but right now I can explain what that means in real time. Governments around the world are going to need money to do this thing called “stimulate the economy”. So, they are going to hold what is called bond elections…usually heard about on Fox Business or Money MSN. You usually hear about bond sales from governments all the time, but do not realize how related they are to how well an economy does and to what end it dictates to what an economy can do. Let me spell it out for you on the Euro Zone.
Yes these socialists did win. Yes they promised more spending and more debt. Yes they will get more spending and more debt. Yes they will increase their countries’ debt to levels never heard of before in history. Yes they will create such a bubble of government spending we will never have known in history. Yes there will be a major fallout from this. Yes they did follow the American “Obama” concept of spending. Yes the world is on a course of debt..Or deficit…spending that will lead to a backlash that we have never seen before. However, what we will see is a short term of prosperity that will seem like the markets are doing well. We will see people investing and making good returns. It will seem like the markets have corrected themselves and that we are out of the woods as far as the housing bubble that killed us in 2007/2008. However, what has actually happened is that we replaced debt with an insurmountable pile of debt. If you have money, invest it now. Yes you will make some great returns. However, pull out within the next six months or less. This is how it works, great amounts of spending from the government makes it look like the economy is getting better, but it doesn’t create sustained growth. It only means that the numbers look good as long as the government spends, so analysts misinterpret how the macroeconomics are playing out, and so people with money fail to invest in the actual growth industries. What will happen is government money will dry up…REAL quick. I’ll explain why shortly.
Once government money dries up then there will be a major drop in GDP for all countries across the globe, which means a major recession will happen overnight. Government spending ends overnight for a couple of simple reasons. With the Euro Zone, it will end soon (this could happen in a week, 6 months, even a couple years but it will happen), because these countries will go to borrow money for their bonds (which is the process for any country to borrow money to spend beyond its means), and investors will require a certain amount of money in return (which is represented by an interest rate). The more money they borrow the higher the interest rate. Most of the Euro Zone’s borrowing limits are not just maxed out, they are in crisis mode.
So let’s say today that I have $100 to invest. I can invest in stocks or bonds. Well let’s just take for example that I lost all my life savings of $10,000 in the US stock market in 2007 and I am a little burnt out on that solution. So I look to bonds. So I want to make sure I make some kind of return in this volatile market we are in right now. I look at bonds across the board and the steadiest bond right now is the US bond. However, it is less than 1%. But I look at the Euro Zone bonds and it is up around like 6-10%. Why is that? Well, the interest is what we like to call the likelyhood of you getting paid back. It is high because it is that much more risky in which you will never see your money again. The more a country borrows, the higher the riskiness, and as we see more Euro debt accumulate it will be costly for them to borrow. Do not just take my word for it, Bill Fleckenstein also feels this way, who is a contributor for Money MSN. So I say let these crazy people get elected with these crazy ideas about spending. Once they go to borrow money that no one is willing to loan them, they will see a massive default on their sovereign debt, and there will be a massive sell off of Euro Zone debt and a flight to the American Dollar we have never seen before.

Hillary Clinton’s College Thesis
Also, since I read a bunch of Scripture without giving the references, I’ve posted all of that below for your convenience, too.
• Proverbs 1:7 – The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
• Prov. 2:3-9 – Yes, if you cry out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding, if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; then you will understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly; He guards the paths of justice, and preserves the way of His saints. Then you will understand righteousness and justice, equity and every good path.
• Prov. 8:12-13 – I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge and discretion. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way and the perverse mouth I hate.
• Prov. 8:32-36 – Now therefore, listen to me, my children for blessed are those who keep my ways. Hear instruction and be wise, and do not disdain it. Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoever finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the Lord; But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; all those who hate me love death.
• Prov. 9:6 – Forsake foolishness and live, and go in the way of understanding.
• Prov. 9:10-11 – The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For by me your days will be multiplied, and years of life will be added to you.
• Prov. 10:4-6 – He who has a slack hand becomes poor, but the hand of the diligent makes rich. He who gathers in summer is a wise son; He who sleeps in harvest is a son who causes shame. Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.
• Prov. 10:9 – He who walks with integrity walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will become known.
• Prov. 10:12 – Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all sins.
• Prov. 10:22 – The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.
• Prov. 10:27-29 – The fear of the Lord prolongs days, but the years of the wicked will be shortened. The hope of the righteous will be gladness, but the expectation of the wicked will perish. The way of the Lord is strength for the upright, but destruction will come to the workers of iniquity.
• Prov. 14:9 – Fools mock at sin, but among the upright there is favor.
• Prov. 14:12 – There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.
• Prov. 14:29-30 – He who is slow to wrath has great understanding, but he who is impulsive exalts folly. A sound heart is life to the body, but envy is rottenness to the bones.
• Matthew 7:13-23 – Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them. Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in the day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
• 2 Peter 2:18-22 – For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage. For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: A dog returns to his own vomit, and a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.
• James 4:8 – Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Is the DHS Prepping for Civil War?
Posted by Unapologetically Right in Current Events, Politics, Preparedness, social issues, Survival, Uncategorized on May 13, 2012
A while back, I saw things going on that scared me. As best as I can remember it, it was 2010 that my thoughts came together. I only mentioned these thoughts to a couple of friends and family members because they could have seemed crazy. I type these words hesitantly now because I don’t want to be accused of inciting anything. Lord knows I don’t want what I’m speaking of. What was my thought?
It became very clear to me that, unless things changed drastically in our country – in the people’s hearts, in the government and our leaders’ hearts, in leadership, in our attitudes toward God, each other, responsibility, etc. – we would collapse. Many people talk of an impending economic collapse, but I mean I could forsee scenarios in which we not only collapse economically, but that could propel us into another civil war. Obama has done his best at dividing us – politically, religiously, racially, by economic classes and by gender. After all, that’s the radical way. I don’t want to go down this road in my mind, nor do I ever want to see it for real. However, divisions and tensions have never been higher – in my lifetime, anyway. So much is at stake. I still can see the possibility. The sad thing is, I’ve had other people come up to me on various occasions and bring up the idea. I’d only shake my head, agree, and tell them I, too, see the possibility. I hope I am completely wrong . . . or at least the scenarios that could trigger it never happen. However, the reason why I bring this up is not to alarm anyone, but to mention I can forsee the possibility . . . and it just got a little scarier.
According to TruNews Radio and Patriot Update, a DHS official stated the following:
“We have problems . . . The federal government is preparing for civil uprising,” he added, “so every time you hear about troop movements, every time you hear about movements of military equipment, the militarization of the police, the buying of the ammunition, all of this is . . . they (DHS) are preparing for a massive uprising.”
The entire article is short. You can read it here, or the link above. There is another article at Urban Survival Guide.
I don’t know how true this is, but it at least deserves consideration. What if it is true? I think most of us know, in our guts, that something is not right in the world and we are on the brink of something. How ready are you?
